I just watched the For Honor's in fullscreen. Honestly if I were into those games, I see nothing there that would keep me from watching it. But going back a couple days later they don't look quite as bad. When I stream Overwatch or even Rocket League, the streams always look like trash to me. Watch them with a 'fresh' eye that hasn't gotten used to in-game beauty. Use the 'master' copies you have locally, not those tainted by YT. My only real advice, play other games for a bit or take a couple day break and then go back to the recordings. But the question is how much of that is encoded into the video and how much of that is YouTube trans-coding artifacts.? In particular, dark textures (your cloak in For Honor) that don't have much detail to begin with will look washed out or have 'color banding' artifacts. If I pause one of them & stop to nit-pick, knowing what I know about encoding, I can kinda pick out textures that I'm sure aren't as sharp as in-game. Ok, all I can say, is that since I've never played either of those games, they look just fine to me. Once you are at this level, it's rarely something somebody else can fix for you. However, you will need to weigh whether it's worth your time and effort going down that rabbit hole - as it will mostly rest on your shoulders as you tweak your system and your settings with your specific encoder. However, even the R6 Siege footage looks good in comparison to other uploaded R6 Siege game play.Īre there tweaks and refinements you can make? Undoubtedly. Then, throw on top of that, fast moving game play like R6 Siege, and you compress (no pun intended) the problem further. Some encoders (NVENC, x264, etc) deal with some game assets better than others. Some game assets are really, really hard to encode well given the speed with which it is being asked. No matter how high quality the upload, you will get some compression artifacts and loss of video fidelity in that transcode. It seems when I Run it through Da Vinci Resolve Black Magic Video Editing it looks a little smoother and fresh. (CBR 80000 Someone recommended I move above 50 If I wanted 1080, still nothing) (Don't remember this one but I had my Refresh Rate moved above 60) Video Recordings I did For Honor( Maxed settings)

I have tried Muaaz Video, EposVox, Tech Guides but no matter what setting (I've tried CPR, VBR, CRF changed the bitrate it's still really blurry.

I just started getting into game recording and watched a few videos on how to set up my OBS, I have no problem with Audio, and my Microphone(Headset, Actual Mic wont work) but whenever I try and record my quality is always really poor, blurry and you can't see the textures clearly.
